Holly So this place seemed to think it was a brilliant idea to bring a literal twelve-year-old here. My faith in their decision-making skills is truly bolstered... Anyway, she’s a brilliant little gremlin. Or... Well to be accurate, a vampire. Never met one of their kind before...? They keep to themselves in my world. She would fit right in with my group at home though. Clever, quick-witted, capable of talking your ear off at impressive speeds, and she can turn into a bat! Adelaide would adore her, though I’m not sure the hideout would survive that kind of team up. She also kinda knows everyhing, and I mean everything about what I am... But I trust her? We’ll keep each other’s secrets at any rate. ... Pretty sure I’d throw myself in front of a damned orca for her, so I guess that means I’ve gotten kind of attached...?

Nida He’s fun, and has a penchant for using windows instead of doors. Got an interesting passenger with him too, a Siren. Different from the ones I know, less people eaty and more pleasant. He’s got some impressive skills, magical and practical. He’d be the sort of human the fae would favour. Not greedy for things that don’t belong to him like others are. Definitely the sort of human I’d have wanted as part of my network back home... I actually trust him, even if he didn’t seem to think I should. He got so concerned! Funny, considering I’ve been leaving my window unlocked for him for a couple months. He’s better than he thinks he is, and I like having him around. Besides, he’s been putting up with my antics for months as my neighbour, little miss swan princess’d be impressed with him for that alone.

Yuna Our lovely leader at the Gullwings. I was... a little on the fence about joining her group, but I’m glad I did. She’s exciting, and makes this all more interesting. Got a good head on her shoulders, and her magic is very impressive. Damned good heart in her too, she cares more than the average human I’ve met... And she’s capable in a fight. Reminds me of the swan princess back home, way less grumpy though. I think they would’ve gotten along? I think I could trust her if I told her about... well the whole selkie thing. I should. I know I should... But the fewer people who need to keep the secret the better, right? Feels a little wrong to keep it from her though, considering she’s been so damned open with me about her world and stuff. We’ll see...

Jacob My lucky charm! I mean that too, helped me find the music shop on our first day here. He’s a fun lad, great to get a reaction out of. If only he’d get the courage to give a little of it back? Almost makes me feel bad for messing with him sometimes... Almost. I can’t really be expected to go against my nature, can I? I like him though, he’s another human with a good heart... I’m not sure how he’d handle the whole me thing. He handles the rest of it pretty well though, even if perhaps he should put the run to me once in a while... He’s going to show me his music some day, I look forward to it. Future music might give me some new ideas.

Jagger I liked him well enough when I met him. Complications aside, he seems like a stand up lad? Joined the Gullwings around the same time I did, and he does a lot around the office. Keeps it running smoothly, I think Dietrich would like him if we were back in my world. Adelaide would definitely mess with him... Not sure what I think of him now with that ability of his. Not his fault though, I got careless when he offered to show me. Jellyfish brains, that’s what I am! Got a very good read on me in a heartbeat, not all of it but... Well enough to make it awkward. We made a deal though, so we’ll see if he honours it. Would like to know him better though, get a better read on him. Might even be friends... If he proves to be a man of his word.

Syeira Still not sure what I think of this one. She’s got an ability that reminds me a bit of Jagger... How do I keep running into people like them? Am I just drawing them in? Anyway... She seems nice enough, and she didn’t mean to use her ability with me. Just sorta happened, apparently because I’m so damned careful all the time about my secret. Who woulda thought? Me being too carefull?? The others would laugh! She doesn’t know it all, just has a vague idea... I want to get to know her a little better before I form an opinion, but I really don’t think she means harm. She said as much pretty quickly. She was... well it seemed like she was honestly sorry for doing it. We’ll see...

Thomas Not much to say about this fellow yet, he’s got a nice enough voice though. Talked to him on the tell-phone, and he has some good ideas about how they could upgrade the damned things again. Apparently they got ‘smart watches’ where he’s from that work better? The Aspects should really get on that! Anyway, I would talk to him again if the opportunity presented itself.

Yuki He’s a polite sort, that’s for sure. Helpful too, going to see if that rice trick of his helps my bloody paperweight tell-phone at all! If does, I owe him one. I look forward to getting to know the lad better, he looks like someone with a bit of fae blood in them. Not that I can just ask the guy, most humans don’t even know it. He’s got a sensible head on his shoulders though, seems to be keen on finding a school here. It’d be nice to see if I can get a laugh out of him... Definitely going to have to check up on him again, especially as I update the maps at the office.

Shalimar I like her, she’s got some grand ideas about what to do in this place. Doesn’t seem like the sort to put up with nonsense around here. I mean that in a good way, of course. I think she’d be keen to get in trouble if the opportunity for a little mischief presented itself, and she boasts that she’s good at running! Going to keep an eye out for her around here, which shouldn’t be hard where she lives in the red building too.

Arkady Met her at the market, she seemed pretty keen on getting some fish to cook up. It was an interesting conversation, she seemed very intuitive too... For good reason, she’s got quite the ability. Not sure I’d want her poking around in my head, but she seemed well-meaning enough. I should check on her again, see if she learned to cook fish like she had hoped to.

Lauri-Ell She looks like she could throw me through a wall... Had to be said! I’m impressed, okay? Reminds me a little of Ciara, but so much less... murdery... She actually seems so nice once you sit down and have a chat with her too? I normally would have wanted to start teasing her as I usually do, but... her world sounds so different? She hadn’t heard music before! I guess I felt obliged to help fix that, she really seemed to like listening. I’ll be keeping an eye out for her I think, seems like an interesting sort to get to know.
